Barcelona Activa is once again participating in the International Logistics Fair (SIL). The congress is taking place from June 5th to 7th at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. This event has become a leading international fair for logistics, transportation, new technologies, sustainability, and supply chain, bringing together over 650 exhibitors from various companies.

The agency will organize several activities at the fair to learn about the projects aimed at strengthening the logistics sector. On June 7th, starting at 9:30 AM, a Job Marketplace will be held with the participation of logistics sector companies. The recruitment session will feature companies such as Appia Group by VGG, Columat, Decathlon CAC Barcelona, DHL Supply Chain, Espritec, Nou transport, Ocean Transport i Sertrans offering a total of 12 vacancies.

On the same day, starting at 10:00 AM, the sectoral session "Professional Opportunities in the Supply Chain of Large Companies and in the Logistics Sector" will take place. Carol Lorenzo, the Director of Professional Guidance at Barcelona Activa, will welcome attendees, followed by Àngels Santigosa, Head of the Studies Department at the City Council, who will give a presentation on trends in the logistics sector in Barcelona. The event will continue with a discussion on professional perspectives within the sector.

During the same session, the agency will also participate in the round table "The Vocational Training Ecosystem in Logistics in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona", presented by Lorena Ventura, Director of Training and Strategic Employment Plans.
