The audiovisual project on the future of work gathers around fifty expert voices who assess the social, labour and digital transformations
Barcelona, 07 Nov 2022
The documentary "Ciutat en Beta: today's work, tomorrow's city" has premiered at the Verdi cinemas in Barcelona. The audiovisual project, with the support of Barcelona Activa, invites us to reflect on future scenarios in the world of work. The production analyses the future of work, taking into account social, labour and digital transformations.
The documentary about the future of work, produced by the Ouishare community and the producer Createl, counts on the support and co-financing of Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Activa and Mobile World Capital Barcelona. The audiovisual production, 54 minutes long, seeks to understand the future of the world of work and talks about remote work, automation and new opportunities.
Around fifty experts assess the social, labour and digital transformations and consider the possible work scenarios in the future. The contributions agree on the importance of approaching changes from a technological humanism to avoid generating inequalities.
Urban planning, architecture, territory, mobility and new forms of work are key in the development of the documentary. During the screening, cases of co-living, platforms and the acceleration of digitalisation since Covid-19 are presented and a cross-cutting view of the impact for local and global businesses is also offered.
"Ciutat en Beta: today's work, tomorrow's city" will be screened again on 10th November at the Barcelona Activa stand at the Biz Barcelona fair. Sign up now!
