New editions of three of the training and labour integration programmes for young people managed by Barcelona Activa will begin in January and February 2025. Professional training, internships and support are offered, as well as access to offers and direct contact with companies looking for staff.

The Jo+ Programmes combine training and internships in companies with personalised guidance. The 2025 call has ten specialties:
 

• Production and commercialisation of eco and local products
• Shop assistants for seafood
• Installation of laminated plasterboard and pallets
• Electrical and telecommunications installation operators
• Monitors of leisure and sports activities
• Warehouse workers and forklift drivers
• Waiters and bartenders assistants
• Kitchen assistants
• Shop assistants
• Plumbing and domestic heating and air conditioning workers

The Trades Workshop combines 6 months of subsidised training and 6 months of paid internships with two itineraries: Barcelona for Nature and Entertainment and Creative Industries. More than 75% of participants have found a job or continued their training. Registrations are open to start the training in January 2025.

The Dual Vocational Training offers 12 months of training and employment with an itinerary: butchers, delicatessen and poultry. It is a programme with approved training that allows you to learn a trade while working in markets and butchers.  Registrations are open to start the training in February 2025.

Furthermore, El Convent, the benchmark space with activities and services adapted to the needs of young people, provides personalised support for personal and professional growth. This support has allowed 80% of the young people who have participated to improve their employment situation.
