The Barcelona Crea Feina programme launches a new edition with grants of up to 15,000 euros to foster recruitment. The call focuses on promoting young talent and the competitiveness of the city's companies and a total of 2 million euros will be allocated.  

The subsidies are promoted with the aim of encouraging the indefinite hiring of around 235 people. They will finance the incorporation of young people under the age of 30 and staff with a doctorate degree and will be open from today, 29th May, until 31st October.  

The Crea Feina line for young people offers grants of up to 8,000 euros for each company that hires people under 30 years of age. With the aim of promoting quality employment in the city, each company will be able to receive a maximum of 3 grants and the grants will be awarded based on the following characteristics: 

• €8,000 for the hiring of people in a vulnerable situation or at risk of exclusion with an indefinite and full-time contract. Between 2,000 and 6,000 euros if it is a part-time job. 

• €6,000 for companies that employ young people in their first job or in a situation of long-term unemployment, with an indefinite contract and on a full-time basis. The subsidy increases to 7,000 euros if the employees are women. 

• €5,000 for each indefinite and full-time contract for unemployed young people, which increases to €6,000 if they are women. 

In the case of the Crea Feina Investiga line, the grants are aimed at staff with a doctorate degree. The subsidies require that the people hired have an indefinite contract with a minimum annual salary of 35,000 euros. The amounts offered are between 12,000 euros for men and 15,000 euros for women.
