Barcelona Activa is committed to ensuring that the Social Economy is increasingly present in the city. In this sense, we are drawing up a calendar of activities that will take place in Bloc4BCN, the new cooperative space in Barcelona, ​​among which we highlight the cycle of Salt d’Escala in the inaugural conversation of DiesInnoBA, which will feature the participation of cooperatives and companies that are at different stages of growth and that come from different sectors.  

DiesInnoBA, in addition, offers a programme of activities in an innovative format to bring the Social Economy and socioeconomic innovation closer to the general public and the city's business fabric.  

Also at the Bloc4BCN facility, on 24th October the itinerary begins of digitalisation, to promote the digital transformation of organisations based on the principles of the Social Economy. This new itinerary will provide the tools and knowledge to develop future digital proposals and improve the efficiency of their operations.  

As a complement to the activities for companies or ongoing projects, the TransformSSE programme is offered, an initiative that brings the values ​​and model of the Social Economy closer to students through informative short courses to discover a new economic approach based on cooperation, sustainability and solidarity. 

Finally, last September the seminar on Socially Responsible Public Procurement was held in Barcelona within the framework of the European campaign #WeBuySocialEU to present the Sustainable Public Procurement Advisory Service.
